How long do I have to sign up for?
We offer month to month leases. Meaning, once you sign a contract you can rent as long as needed. Minimum rental term is one month.
When can I get my belongings?
Our facility is accessible 24 hours. However, as most items are primarily seasonal, we are not equipped for snow removal. If you need your item accessed after a big snow please give us a couple of days notice and we will do our best to accommodate access for you.
How much notice must be given when I move out?
We require 14 days notice to move out. Notice can be given by text or email for referencing. It is considered rented unless notification is given. Full details on vacating policy will be provided at the time of lease signing.
How can I make a payment?
Payments are made by ACH through your checking account. While signing a contract with us we will sign you up for automatic payments by using a voided check or print out of banking information. This makes bill paying easy and allows you more time to play with your friends and family :)
Do I need insurance?
Insuring your items with your auto insurance while they are in storage is highly recommended. Just as your home is susceptible to fire, burglary, storm damage and vandalism so too is your storage. Check with your auto insurance policy to see if your storage possessions are covered. Toy Box Storage does not provide insurance coverage on your contents. Toy Box Storage is not liable for any damage to your item.
How many items can I store in my assigned space?
One item per space, no double stacking items. When you sign a contract you describe the item you will be storing with us. If you switch items you need to give notification and description of the new item. All spaces are the same price. We try to organize items into spaces that make accessibility user friendly. Once you are assigned a space, if your item would later fit into a more sensible space then we may give you a new assigned space.
